The Singapore Association of Sommeliers (SAS) is hosting Taiwine Night Market, a Taiwanese night market‑style fundraiser on 3 May 2026, to raise S$10,000 for the World Sommelier General Assembly, which will take place in Taipei from 18 to 21 May 2026.
Taiwine Night Market will be held at Iru Den, located at 27 Scotts Road. Tickets are priced at S$55 nett, which includes a glass of wine, Taiwanese snacks prepared by Iru Den, as well as access to games and a silent wine auction.
Recommended by Michelin Guide, Iru Den is helmed by Singaporean Chef-owner Javier Low. The restaurant offers authentic Taiwanese cuisine crafted with top-quality ingredients.
Wine lovers are also encouraged to donate a bottle for the silent auction, and anyone wishing to make a private donation may reach out to SAS directly by sending a direct message to SAS’s Instagram @sgsomm.

Chef-owner Javier Low started his journey at 17 at the renowned Iggy’s in Singapore. After gaining experience there, he ventured to Kyoto to delve into Kyoto-European cuisine at Cenci. Returning to Singapore in 2018, he opened Iru Den, a 12-seater one-man kitchen that gained a reputation for innovative and contemporary Taiwanese cuisine.
