Chateau d’Esclans was purchased by Sacha Lichine in 2006 who, in the space of just 10 years, made Whispering Angel the world’s most famous rosé
Born in Bordeaux and educated in America, Sacha Lichine acquired Chateau d’Esclans in 2006. Believing rosé had untapped potential for premium production and global appeal, he channeled his passion into creating a world-class portfolio, including Whispering Angel, Rock Angel, Chateau d’Esclans, Les Clans and Garrus. This vision revolutionised Rosé, driving unprecedented growth in the market.
In 2019, this success attracted LVMH, which purchased a 55% stake in Chateau d’Esclans. Retaining 45%, Sacha Lichine works closely with Moët Hennessy to further develop his range of luxury rosés.

Assemblage Dinner XXXVII Guest-of-Honour Fabio Solenthaler, Brand Ambassador APAC of Chateau d’Esclans, is Swiss and Singaporean. He has lived across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia and is a graduate of the prestigious École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL). Over the past year, he has lived at Chateau d’Esclans in Provence, hosting international VIP clients and dinners while embracing the savoir-faire of the estate’s iconic Rosés.
